OpenWorldOST

OpenWorldOST is a location-based ambient soundtrack app for Android. It listens to the real world around you — your position, the time of day, the season, and the weather — and plays music and ambience that match.

Features:

- Dynamic music that changes based on real OpenStreetMap locations around you (forests, castles, lakes, urban areas, and more)

- Day/night music variants with smooth transitions

- Real weather integration: rain, storms, snow ambience layered over your music

- Night ambience (crickets, owls) when it gets dark

- Transport detection: automatically switches to a travel theme when you're moving fast (car, train, etc.)

- Runs in the background, screen off included

- Fully customizable settings (volume, toggles for weather/night sounds, clock format)

Installation notes:

- This app is not on the Google Play Store. You'll need to enable "install from unknown sources" on your Android device to install the APK.

- Since the app isn't distributed through the Play Store, Android's Play Protect may show a warning ("potentially harmful app" or similar) when you try to install it. This is expected for any app outside the Play Store — tap "Install anyway" (or "More details" → "Install anyway") to proceed.

- Requires location permissions to work, including background location for the app to keep working when it's not in the foreground.
